Newsletter May 2018

  Blanket Making Days for May:
       Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, May 7th, 10:00 to 2:00.
Riverton Senior Center, May 25th, 9:30 to noon.

Join us to make a blanket.  At this time we have fabric for you to work on. You don’t have to bring anything.

            Donated fabric for baby blankets
We have received a donation of several receiving blanket kits and also kits for canopy blankets. If you are a machine sewing person and would like to complete some of these let me know.  I am happy to share them with you.

Each receiving blanket kit has matched bottom and top cut to finish up as a 36 x 36 blanket.   The canopy blankets are a bit longer 41 or so as they fit over a car seat and fasten on the carry handle.

I also have quilt kits to share.  They also have everything in them but the batting (including matched thread and patterns)

     Welcome Baby

This little guy received the cuddly blanket thru the Welcome Baby program.  This program serves women who are pregnant and their children (up thru age 3.)  The mission of the program is to help parents be the best they can be.  They provide resources to help, current information on parenting, home visitations from experienced nurses or trained educators and increased support for family stability.

Thanks to all you dedicated blanketers,    Millie
