Shared by another coordinator who's chapter also sent blankets for TAPS
Dear Friends,
My family and I would like to thank all of you who participated and
donated the beautiful afghans and quilts to the TAPS attendees in
Washington, DC Memorial Day weekend. We received three beautiful pieces;
please know that we appreciate the time and efforts involved in the
handiwork. Thank you for remembering our fallen heroes in such a kind
and demonstrative manner.
May God Bless all of you!
Sincerely,
Jimmy & Dena Lloyd

This chapter serves children in need in the Salt Lake County area. Our mission is to:
(1) provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer "blanketeers" and
(2) provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.
