January make a blanket day

Just a reminder to our North Valley blanketeers, our make a blanket day will be Monday, January 9th, 2012. Have a Happy & safe New Year celebration!

Blanket Making Guidelines

Materials must be NEW, unused, washable and free of contaminants such as mold, mildew, pet hair and smoke. Fleece, flannel, cotton or cotton/poly blends in bright, kid friendly prints are best! Please NO wool, knits or upholstery fabrics.

We are unable to accept tied fleece blankets with knots.

We accept all styles of blankets: quilts, fleece blankets, crocheted or knitted afghans and double flannel receiving blankets. Please wash afghans to remove sizing (do not use scented detergents or softeners)
