August Newsletter 2018

Hi Blanketeers,
Patsy and I are both back from our separate vacations.  Thanks for being there for us and making blankets this past month while we were vacationing.  We are ready to get down to business again.

Alaska - the land of the midnight sun, glaciers, and fishing.
        11:30 p.m. sunset.

Italy - the land of ancient wonders and history - the colosseum.

Blanket day at OSLC will be Monday the 6th from 10:00 to 2:00.  Looking forward to seeing everyone.
Blanket day at Riverton Senior Center will be Friday the 24th of August 9:00 to noon.

Mark Your Calendars and bring your kids for this fun day:
OSLC - 2500 E. 3900 South will be doing their annual fundraiser festival on September 8th- Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  All the money raised will be shared with two mission projects (of which Project Linus is one.)  Mark your calendar and come by to visit vendors, let the children play, shop for crafts, check out the rummage sale, and have some food.

The constant need for your handwork is ever present.  The children who receive our hand made blankets, also receive a message of love and caring from you.  Thanks for all you do for kids.

Hugs to all of you,   Millie
