This chapter serves children in need in the Salt Lake County area. Our mission is to:
(1) provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer "blanketeers" and
(2) provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.
May this season of giving remind us of the impact we can create together. Wishing you joy as you enjoy the newsletter and embrace the season of giving.

Hello, September!
As the leaves start to turn, kids return to school and pumpkin spice sneaks its way back into everything, our chapter has been busier than ever! In this month's newsletter we're thrilled to share the heartwarming details of the Pay It Forward event hosted by Salt Lake City Police Department, send a big grateful thank you for the generous donations of materials we've received, and spotlight a very special contribution from the talented Quilting Sisters. There's a whole lot of kindness (and fabric) to go around so let's dive in!

Summer is in full swing, but even the blazing sun can't replace the warm hug of a cozy blanket! While the temps are high, so is the love and our mission continues. Even in the heat of summer, we are still delivering over 250 blankets to children in need each month. Comfort doesn't take a vacation.
In this month's newsletter, we're celebrating one of our amazing centenarian blanketeers; sharing the story behind a surprise donation that had us doing a double take (and maybe a little happy dance); giving a quarterly update on Smith's Inspiring Donations contributions; and showcasing some of the beautiful blanket creations donated in July.
Stay cool, stay kind and enjoy the read!

While summer might not typically bring blankets to mind, we know that comfort and care are always in season. Even during the warmer months, we continue wrapping our community in love with one blanket at a time.
This summer, we're once again proud to support Utah Royal Kids Camp and many other incredible organizations through our ongoing blanket donations. Thanks to your generosity, we're able to receive and distribute 200 - 300 blankets each month which is a truly remarkable impact.
In this month's newsletter, we share our ongoing commitment to quality, highlight how everyone can find a place at our Blanket Days, recap a fun event at Quilts, Etc., and showcase some of the beautiful blanket donations we received in May.
We've made it through another winter, and spring has finally arrived! It's been a wonderful year so far, and we're thrilled to share that our chapter is quickly approaching a huge milestone within the next few months: 40,000 blankets distributed since we began in 2007. What an incredible achievement - and it's all thanks to your continued support!
We are also thrilled to announce that we recently received a generous grant from South Jordan Walmart! We're incredibly grateful for their commitment to our community - this funding will go a long way in helping us continue our mission. We're hopeful that more local Walmart stores will follow their lead!
This month's newsletter is all about fundraising and ways to help our chapter. Keep reading to learn how you, your family, and your friends can help us keep the momentum going.
Welcome spring! While the weather is warming up, there are still many children who can find comfort through our blanket donations. March was another successful month, with 265 blankets received and 290 blankets distributed to the organizations we support.
In this month's newsletter, we celebrate Women's History Month (albeit a month late) by honoring the incredible women who founded our chapter and helped us reach where we are today. You'll also learn about two of the organizations we support and as always, get a look at the blankets we've received this month.
Wow! February may have been a short month, but it was certainly a busy one! We received an incredible 314 blankets this month, which might just be a chapter record! Be sure to check out photos of some of the donations at the end of the blog - they're truly amazing. A huge thank you to all the dedicated blanketeers who continue to support us. In this month's newsletter, we have both some bad news and some good news. Keep reading to see what's happening!
See how many shamrocks can you spot throughout the newsletter... (the answer is at the end!) 🌈☘
